Boxing at Ringside has been a part of my training since 2001, when I was the captain of the NZ sevens team it helped with my speed, timing and cardio. I was introduced to the conditioning sessions by my team mate Keith Lowen and it’s been a part of my preparation ever since. |

The Ringside conditioning session never fails me, I’ve been a part of Ringside for over seven years now and still get what I am looking for. Cross training with boxing has been a big part of preparing for a hard Super 14 season. |

I usually join in the Box fit classes, most of the boys use Ringside at some time, I enjoy the training, you see all sorts of different people training for different reasons, and it’s hard but fun. |

I love hard training but one of the best things about this gym is you can modify the workout to your level, you can kill yourself or just have a medium to moderate workout, not everyone is an athlete but they all work together. |

I was overweight and sick of gyms who didn’t seem to notice you after you paid your fees, friends of mine dragged me along to the Ringside fitness gym, my first reaction was one of apprehension as I had a sneaky suspicion Ringside meant some kind of boxing. I lost over twenty kilos and won a corporate boxing event, what a feeling! |
